The Symbiosis of Theoretical Learning and Practical Doing

What comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘classroom’? Your all-time favorite teacher standing at the front? Or perhaps a trip down memory lane, recalling the fondest moments with some of your classmates. Maybe a glimpse of one of the toughest tests you ever had. Or that one guest whose visit meant you had to skip geography lessons for that day. For most, one thing remains constant, regardless of the memory you’re drawn to: a row of desks and a chalkboard—the staple setting of formal education.

Young innovators empowered to drive change in Tanzania

AN educational organisation — UpStudio Africa has stepped in to nurture the next generation of creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders in Tanzania.

 

UpStudio Africa partnered with Automark, the certified pre-owned division of Toyota Tanzania and part of the Karimjee Group, to undertake the training programme, which culminated with the students’ expedition to Toyota Tanzania recently.

34 children tour ATCL’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

Dar es salaam. A group of 34 young learners’ have participated in an aviation adventure expedition organised by UpStudio Africa, in partnership with Air Tanzania to inspire young people into the sector.

 

The engineering team at Air Tanzania also showed the pupils the marvels of aircraft fuselage, wings, and tail assembly.

 

In a statement released by the company, the Founder of UpStudio Africa, Ms Shama Kheraj said this partnership helps to enhance innovative learning experiences for young students.

Beyond Schooling: ‘We Anticipate That What The World Needs Is People Who Are Able To Kind Of Move Across…’

With her education startup in Dar-es-Salaam, Shama Kheraj is creating young innovators, offering workshops at the intersection of STEM, entrepreneurship, and creativity.

 

At UpStudio Africa’s bright and roomy space in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, you see children huddled together in small energetic groups, working on projects that solve complex problems, or trying to program robots coding their next move. Outside of their classroom curriculum, this is a space where they can explore their passion for today’s technology and tomorrow’s not-yet-born professions.

Clashing of opinions about the COVID-19 systems in soccer
