Student Internships
About Internships at UpStudio
UpStudio Africa offers internships to children who are part of the UpStudio Africa community. Depending on experience and interest, student interns can co-create their internships along any of the following key strands of our work:
- Administrative Support
- Curriculum Research
- Classroom Support
- Marketing Campaigns (including social media support)
Eligibility Criteria
- 10 – 19 years attending any school in Tanzania
- Completed 2+ courses with UpStudio Africa
- Proficiency in the English language
- Passion for children and/or Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)
Length of Internships
The length of the internships will vary from 1 – 3 months, depending on the availability of selected interns. We will work the interns to ensure we customize the internship to best fit availability and interests.
What will you receive?
- First-hand experience learning the core elements of running a business
- An opportunity to grow younger students in the STEM field
- Support in writing and designing a resume
- Training and coaching throughout the internship from our staff
- Receive a recommendation letter from UpStudio Africa at the end of the internship
