Launched in 2024, the Hybrid Innovation Project is a collaboration between UpStudio Africa and Toyota Tanzania to learn about hybrid automobile technology.

InnovateX Internship Program

Immersive working experience for kids and teens in the real world.

We believe in nurturing the potential of young minds and preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the future. Our internship program offers a transformative experience designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in the ever-changing dynamic world.

Through hands-on projects, mentorship, and real-world exposure, students ages 10-19 embark on a journey of discovery and growth, discovering their passions, honing their talents, and building the foundation for future success. Whether they’re exploring STEM fields, developing essential life skills, or collaborating with leading corporate partners, our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs and aspirations of every student.

School Workshop

The project will deliver a series of free workshops on hybrid electric vehicles and technologies for up to 500 middle-school and high-school students across Dar es Salaam throughout 2024.

All year round

Hybrid Camp

The project will host a Hybrid Innovation Camp to explore and compare combustion engines, electric engines, and hybrids, including hands-on with an open-cut car and a test drive of a hybrid electric car.

July 2024

Expedition

The project will offer an expedition focused on car maintenance at the Pugu Road ShowRoom. Through the expedition, students will visit theToyota Tanzania HQ to learn about hybrid and conventional car maintenance.

October 2024
